Since his first fishing trip on Lake Ontario, Oswego County in the mid 1980's, Michael knew he wanted to some day move up to UpState NY. When he met Bobbie in 1992 and brought her up to New York, she loved the area just as much as Michael.
They purchased their own home in 1994 in Lacona, NY when then made it easier for them to travel back and forth as often as possible. They came up not only to fish but to explore the surrounding areas. Becoming more anxious to relocate up to Oswego County, they started to look at jobs and business opportunities. In March of 1999 'Sticks Sports Bar Grill and Motel of New Haven was started (reborn). Michael then moved up here permanently from New Jersey to start developing the business. Bobbie stayed in New Jersey until February 2002 when she was able to join Michael in running the business.
Both being outdoor enthusiasts, enjoying hunting, fishing, photography, and gardening it was easy to get involved with other people who shared the same interests.
Michael and Bobbie have been involved with the Pro-Am Fishing tournament and the Parents of Special Children fishing derby. They both are also charter members in the GreenPond Sportsman Club.
